BurnIt Privacy Policy

Baris Savas ("we", "us") runs the BurnIt app and is responsible for your data. Contact: barissavass707@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and user ID, from Sign in with Apple.
- Meal photos: photos you scan, and the food names and calorie estimates created from them.
- Health and fitness information: the profile details you enter (such as age, sex, height, weight and goal), your calorie targets, meals and workouts.
- Purchases: subscription status and purchase history.
- Product interaction: paywall views and coarse usage events. These do not include your name, exact values or photos.
We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, we do not show ads, and we do not sell your data.
Why we use it
To run the app: estimating calories, saving your history, calculating workouts, managing your subscription and answering support requests. We process your data to provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract) and, for health information, based on your explicit consent, which you give by entering it. You can withdraw consent by deleting the data or your account.
AI processing of meal photos
When you scan a meal, the photo is sent to Anthropic, our AI provider, to identify the food and estimate its calories. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, these photos are not used to train its models. Calorie figures are estimates and can be wrong; you can edit them before saving.

These providers act on our instructions and only use the data to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data, meals, workouts and saved meal photos until you delete them or delete your account. When you delete your account, we delete this data from our systems.
Your choices and rights
You can edit or delete meals and workouts in the app, and delete your account and its data under Profile → Delete Account. You can also email us to access, correct, export or delete your data, or to object to processing. Depending on where you live, you have rights under laws such as the GDPR or Türkiye's KVKK (Law No. 6698), including the right to complain to your data protection authority. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage that in your Apple account settings.
Age
BurnIt is intended for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from younger children.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as the providers' standard contractual clauses.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections. Meal photos are stored in a private bucket and are only reachable by your account.
Changes
We will update this page when this policy changes, and tell you in the app if a change is significant.

- Satın almalar: abonelik durumu ve satın alma geçmişi.
- Ürün etkileşimi: abonelik ekranı görüntülemeleri ve genel kullanım olayları. Bunlar adınızı, kesin değerleri veya fotoğrafları içermez.
Sizi başka şirketlerin uygulama ve sitelerinde takip etmeyiz, reklam göstermeyiz ve verilerinizi satmayız.
Verileri neden kullanıyoruz
Uygulamayı çalıştırmak için: kalori tahmini, geçmişinizi saklama, antrenman hesaplama, aboneliğinizi yönetme ve destek taleplerini yanıtlama. Verilerinizi istediğiniz hizmeti sunmak (sözleşmenin ifası) için, sağlık verilerinizi ise girerek verdiğiniz açık rızanıza dayanarak işleriz. Verileri veya hesabınızı silerek rızanızı geri alabilirsiniz.
Yemek fotoğraflarının yapay zekâ ile işlenmesi
Bir yemeği taradığınızda fotoğraf, yemeği tanımak ve kalorisini tahmin etmek için yapay zekâ sağlayıcımız Anthropic'e gönderilir. Anthropic'in ticari koşulları gereği bu fotoğraflar modellerini eğitmek için kullanılmaz. Kalori değerleri tahmindir ve yanlış olabilir; kaydetmeden önce düzenleyebilirsiniz.

Saklama süresi

Haklarınız
Öğün ve antrenmanları uygulamada düzenleyebilir veya silebilir, hesabınızı ve verilerini Profil → Hesabı Sil bölümünden silebilirsiniz. Verilerinize erişmek, düzeltmek, dışa aktarmak, silmek veya işlenmesine itiraz etmek için bize e-posta gönderebilirsiniz. 6698 sayılı KVKK'nın 11. maddesi ve GDPR gibi yasalar kapsamındaki haklarınız, Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu'na veya ilgili veri koruma otoritesine şikâyet hakkını da içerir. Hesabınızı silmek Apple aboneliğinizi iptal etmez; bunu Apple hesap ayarlarınızdan yönetin.
Yaş
BurnIt 16 yaş ve üzeri kişiler içindir. Daha küçük çocuklardan bilerek veri toplamayız.
Yurt dışına aktarım
Sağlayıcılarımız verileri Amerika Birleşik Devletleri dahil yurt dışında işleyebilir. Gerektiğinde aktarımlar, sağlayıcıların standart sözleşmeleri gibi güvencelere dayanır.
Güvenlik
Veriler şifreli bağlantılarla gönderilir. Yemek fotoğrafları özel bir depoda tutulur ve yalnızca sizin hesabınızdan erişilebilir.
Değişiklikler
Politika değiştiğinde bu sayfayı güncelleriz; önemli değişiklikleri uygulamada bildiririz.
